At the invitation of the International Liaison Department of the Central Committee of the CPC, a delegation of 30 people from 15 left-wing parties of Bangladesh, India, Nepal and Sri Lanka visited China from August 30 to September 12. They visited Jinan and Jining of Shandong during September 2 to September 6. In the afternoon of September 5, Li Rong, Counsel of Shandong Provincial Foreign Affairs Office met with the delegation in Jinan. She introduced to them the latest economic and social development of Shandong, shared with them the cooperation plans with the four countries and answered their questions.
The delegation studied Shandong’s economic and social development, and the province’s experience in targeted poverty alleviation and party building. They extended appreciation to Shandong’s thoughtful arrangement and hospitality and expressed their wishes to advance exchanges with Shandong in business, agriculture and people-to-people exchanges.
